Afghanistan’s stability main issue of Pres. Raisi’s meetings in Tajikistan

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said that stability of Afghanistan is the most important issue stressed in President Ebrahim Raisi’s meetings in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.

Amirabdollahian wrote in a Twitter message that President Raisi’s meeting with heads of member states of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will continue.

He added that in a few hours, Iran and the SCO summit and Collective Security Treaty Organization will discuss Afghanistan.

Stability and development of Afghanistan will be achieved by formation of a collective government and participation of all ethnic groups of Afghanistan with no foreign interference, he wrote.

Amirabdollahian is accompanying President Raisi who is to participate in the SCO summit in Dushanbe, the Tajik capital on Friday.

Invited by Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon, President Raisi arrived in Dushanbe on Thursday to take part in Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

Ministers of foreign affairs, energy, labor, cultural heritage, and justice accompany the president during the visit.
